This Regency dress from around 1800 was inspired by an original from the Hermitage Museum in St Petersburg.
The Regency dress is made of turquoise-coloured silk with an antique cream-coloured cotton tulle overlay. The floral scrolling flowers and tendrils are concentrated in the hem and bodice. The neckline and sleeve hems are edged in lace. The skirt ends in a train.
