Period: around 1830

This Biedermeier children's dress was made for a children's birthday party with historical costumes based on a pattern from the "Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg". It is made of blue silk with gigot sleeves typical of the 1830s.
The skirt is pleated and can be extended by sewn-in steps and the waist size can be varied using the belt. The antique lace collar can be removed using press studs and can therefore be washed separately.
Another Biedermeier dress was given to the child's doll.
